We have been looking for ways to continue to support you and your household's basic needs. In our journey to do this the Bayview YMCA Beacon program applied for and received a sizable amount of funds to support MLK families with direct financial support for rental assistance, food support, utility support, and anything else that would help support you and your child during this time.

In order to determine how and who we can help, we need every 6th grade family to complete the Family Needs Form. Everyone may be eligible for something, so it is critical that you complete this form even if you may think that your household doesn’t have a need. We ask that you answer the questions truthfully. No personal information will be shared with any school district, city, state or federal entity/organization. This information will only be used by MLK and YMCA staff to determine how we best utilize this funding to support the MLK community. We are really excited to offer this service to the school community. Please note this support is only available to families with children in the sixth grade at this time.
